I agree with Huffer that you would get a nice bump with 2 x 2 GB of memory.

Having a 64 bit operating system on that PC will do it no good. It may actually be disadvantageous. I experimented with both a 32 and 64 bit OS on my dvus. Since January I am offering alternative nForce drivers and driverpacks, which are actual, but maybe better than NVIDIA's official ones for details you may look here. This modification doesn't touch the driver's function and the loss of Microsoft's digital signature WHQL has no impact on the driver's installation thanks to nLite's built-in textmode driver integration method. For mcp67 ahci later integration I recommend to prepare the following actual mcp67 ahci approved nForce textmode drivers, which are optimized for being used with nForce RAID systems:.

Windows XP or Windows Server 32bit. Windows XP x64 or Windows Server x After having downloaded the suitable driverpack and unzipped it with a tool like WinRAR or 7-Zip everything is prepared for the later integration procedure.

Processing with nLite:. Would you use this site again?

So this is what I recommend to do: 1. Make sure, that your source XP x64 CD is an untouched original one. Everything I tried led me to bsod after rebooting on the completion of Installation. It is because the txt drivers are replaced by my modified Release of Windows xp Only thing I was able to do is: Remove the two ssd mcp67 ahci the raid-0 Array install xp64 on a third different HD connected on a non raid port. There is currently an amd64 test kernel there but I'll be adding i mcp67 ahci it finishes building. Please let us know mcp67 ahci results if you are able to test. Also, the latest Karmic 9. I'm actually leaning towards that being a hardware problem and I have replaced that harddrive now.

Or sign in with one of these services. Everyone keeps asking me if I'm sure that I'm installing the correct drivers but the fact is that the drivers that MSI and nVidia are providing for this board and chipset for some bizarre reason don't actually seem to contain drivers for the serial ata controller that this chipset uses by all means don't take my word for it, look for yourself and so windows is forced to use the default Microsoft drivers. As I mentioned Abit makes a board that uses this mcp67 ahci same nVidia chipset, the AN-M2HD and there were several posts in their user to user forums regarding this same problem and one person claims that their latest bios update plus a set of AHCI drivers fixed the problem, however I looked at those drivers and they appear exactly the same as the latest MSI drivers so no help there.

But hang on, the OEM file is only to install the drivers during installation, that is not needed for this chipset at the MS driver works fine during installation.
